General Cleaning

• Use a soft, damp cloth for daily cleaning.
• You can wipe it with mild soapy water; rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and dry.
• Avoid abrasive cleaning materials that could scratch the stone surface.
• Acid-containing cleaners (vinegar, lemon juice, etc.) can damage the stone surface; do not use them.

Stain Precautions

• Clean up spills immediately; natural stone can be porous and absorb stains.
• Oily substances (oil, cream, etc.) can leave stains on the stone; minimize contact.

Protection

• Some stone types can benefit from regular impregnation (sealer) application. Contact us for an impregnation product suitable for your stone type.
• Avoid placing heavy objects on the stone; there may be a risk of breakage, especially on thin edges.

Notes by Stone Type

• Marble and Travertine: Sensitive to acids. Keep away from substances containing acid.
• Onyx: Requires careful maintenance due to its translucent structure. Protect from hard impacts.
• Granite: More durable than other stones; however, it is still recommended to keep it away from acidic substances.
• Basalt: A durable stone; routine cleaning is sufficient.
